Rabba Nava Meiersdorf

Rabba Nava Meiersdorf grew up in an Orthodox community and earned her BA at Emunah College in Theater, Education and Jewish Studies. She has an MA in Talmud, Halacha and Community Leadership and was ordained at the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary.  Five years ago she and her husband, Rabbi Yerach Meiersdorf, established an innovative and successful new egalitarian minyan in the Ein Karem neighborhood of Jerusalem. Nava has recently been appointed as Rabbi at the Fuchsberg Center in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Yerach B. Meiersdorf 

Rabbi Yerach B. Meiersdorf is the rabbi of MAROM Masorti/ Conservative young adults movement.  He was born in Israel to American parents who made Aliyah, and grew up in the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem in a National-Orthodox home.  Rabbi Meiersdorf lives Jerusalem with his wife, Rabba Nava Meiersdorf. Together Yerach and Nava founded a spiritual Masorti congregation for young adults in the Ein Karem neighborhood of Jerusalem.  Rabbi Yerach has just published a book on spiritual education.

Rabbi Sara Cohen

Rabbi Sara Cohen is a member of Kibbutz Ketura where she has lived and worked since making Aliyah in 1986. Sara was ordained by the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary in Jerusalem in 2017 and presently serves as a regional rabbi in the Eilot region in the southern Arava Valley of Israel. She holds a Masters Degree from the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jewish Studies and Gender, and a B.A. from Barnard College in Comparative Religion.
